Session Title: Power Conversion, Energy Management, And Multi-Energy Complementarity in Microgrid

With the continuous deployment of sustainable energy based distributed generations, microgrid, as a basic element at the distribution system level of smart grids, is playing an important role. Power-electronics based power processing technology is the core part for building and interconnecting microgrids, where the key technologies are gradually shifting from bottom-level power conversion to the stable operation at system level, and to the efficient energy management at upper level. With the diversified development and promotion of urban/industrial energy supply forms, microgrid will inevitably derive into a regional smart energy network oriented to multi-energy complementarity, and, therefore, its relevant research trends and technical means need to be explored urgently.

  • Power converters for integrating a diversity of energy generation into microgrid
  • Power and energy management in microgrid
  • Stability analysis and control of microgrid
  • Converter design and control for interlinking microgrid
  • Multi-energy complementary applications into microgrid
  • Cyber integrity of microgrid
  • Hardware-in-the-Loop platform for microgrid
